Canton House in Arlington Heights

Called in order (Friday around 7 pm). Was told 45 minutes. Arrived 45 minutes later, order took another 20 minutes. Part of order was cold and the beef dish had a minimal amount of beef, it was mostly vegetables.

Great food, easy in and out location.

Best fried rice around.

I usually order General Tso's Chicken from each Chinese restaurant I go to.. I must say, Canton House has the best I've tasted.

The food fantastic and a very good value. The service is not only superb, but the family that owns Canton House is as friendly as they come. Always a very warm hello and thank you, every single time. A local business to support for all if the right reasons!

Was very excited based on the review score but incredibly disappointed. Orange chicken and General tao chicken had no flavor. Fried rice just tasted like salt. The egg rolls tasted like windex. If you are looking for good Chinese food, do yourself a favor and go to Hong Kong Restaurant in Arlington Heights. We didn’t go this time because they were out of the dishes we wanted.

Good Chinese food at good prices.

I like this place! They provide high class food, their menu is large, The chef in that restaurant is very trained, I enjoy a lot trying all their dishes. The food is always fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the customers is helpful. I often eat in this restaurant and I was never unhappy. I recommend it to all my friends.

The best Chinese food w/ in my 10 mile radius from Northbrook... bar-none!

Their food was excellent. I ordered the beef fried rice with rolls and both we're tasty. The quantity of the large rice order could feed 3 people. Great value. A must try if you like Chinese food.

My wife and I have lived Arlington Heights area for 2 years and never ordered Chinese take-out until last weekend. Unfamiliar with the Chinese take-out restaurants in the area, we turned to Yelp to find the best one. Canton House did not disappoint!I found most of the other reviews to be spot on. The food portions are enormous! My wife and I both got the large portions and it barely looked liked we even touched our food after we finished eating dinner. One of the large portions lasted me a dinner plus TWO lunches.In regards to food, the flavoring was decent and the main reason I am only giving it 5 stars. There's a chinese place back in college called Cravings and no other place so far has compared. Some other reviewers mention the food was bland. I didn't think it was bland, however it could use a little extra seasoning/flavor. Overall a good to great chinese place considering the portion size. I will most likely being coming back in the future.

Not being from there the food was delicious no peas and carrots 😊. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I have been eating at Canton House for40 years and have never been disappointed. Staff is friendly and always prompt. I give 5 stars; more if able.

Delivery...1 star. Mongolian Beef? Beef and GRAVY! Never have I ever had gravy on Mongolian Beef. General Tso Chicken? Overcooked. Hard deep fried chicken with overcooked broc.
